Yasumichi Morita is a Japanese interior designer who is currently working on the new Morimoto restaurant at Shelborne Wyndham Grand Resort in Miami. We spotted him on a rare day off in this vintage pair of glasses from French designer Alain Mikli. These glasses date back to the early 80s and are plated in 22K gold. Handmade in Paris, the sculptural frames really showcase the fine craftsmanship of the brand, with a thick, cat-eye brow line, and dramatic dip at the bridge. Originally designed as sunglasses, Yasumichi had transition lenses put into his pair to allow for ease and practicality.
