Victoria is a producer who works in the theatre and music scene in New York, so it was no surprise that we snapped her photo at the Governors Ball Music Festival last month. Victoria loved the colour and asymmetry of these Burberry sunglasses, which feature a feminine oval shape and a slight yet elegant cat-eye. Made from acetate, these Burberry BE4187 shades are seen here in a “Light Horn” colour, that mirrors the signature colours of the Burberry tartan pattern. The muted tones of the frame are a nice contrast to the brown gradient lenses, and they add versatility to these glasses – they’ll look at good whether you pair them with a tank top and jeans, or with that Burberry trench.
We spotted Paper Magazine Editorial Director (and The Spectacled alum) Mickey Boardman in these bright blue Burberry frames after the Balmain show during Paris Fashion Week. Made from acetate, these frames were originally sunglasses, before Mickey popped in his prescription lenses. The unisex frames feature a classic square-shaped silhouette, with the Burberry logo printed on the temples. But it’s the metallic blue hue which make these specs stand out, perfectly framing Mickey’s blue eyes. The eyewear fan told us he gravitates toward bigger glasses because they make a bold statement. In his words, “Smaller glasses are wimpy.”
