Omar Hussein

We noticed Omar’s brown and gold Louis Vuitton frames while visiting the Wynwood Walls in Miami. “All gold everything!” Omar said about how he chooses his glasses. These iconic, “Petit Soupcon Cat Eye” frames are made from three layers of acetate, with metal temples and accents. The frames are then hand-polished for a smooth, glossy finish.

Louis Vuitton signatures are all over these sunglasses, which feature a distinctive metal hinge inspired by the S-lock on LV trunks. The Louis Vuitton name is engraved on the temples, and there is a flower and LV monogram on the temple tips. Though the chunky cat eye is traditionally more of a feminine style, Omar rocks the look by pairing the shades with a baseball cap, tailored sweats and Doc Martens. It gives the frames a whole new dimension and look.

Lauren Backman

Lauren’s Louis Vuitton aviators are perfect for her face shape, while lending a touch of elegance to her casual, everyday look. These glasses feature some incredible detailing, with the signature “LV” logo running down the side of the temples and along the inside of the frame. And we love how the golden finish looks with the brown gradient lenses.

If you have a smaller face like Lauren’s, aviators are a flattering choice of eyewear. The flat-top bar and rounded lenses are a great way to add some angles and dimension, without going over the top. Plus you can’t go wrong with a cool and classic pair of sunglasses!
